Future Simple Tense

เช่น He will travel to Singapore next year. (เขาจะไปเที่ยวสิงคโปร์ปีหน้า)

หลักการใช้ (be) going to แทน will หรือ shall
1. ใช้ (be) going to + V1 แสดงความตั้งใจ แทน will และ
shall เช่น
She is going to buy a car next month.(เธอจะซื้อรถยนต์เดือนหน้า)
2. ใช้ (be) going to + V1 แสดงการคาดคะเน แทน will และ shall เช่น
I think it is going to rain.(ฉันคิดว่าฝนจะต้องตก)
3. ใช้ (be) going to + V1 แสดงข้อความซึ่งเชื่อว่าเป็นจริงโดย
ไม่สงสัย แทน will และ shall เช่น
His wife is going to have a baby.(ภรรยาของเขาจะมีลูกแล้ว)
ห้ามใช้ (be) going to + V1 ในกรณีต่อไปนี้
1. เหตุการณ์ที่เป็นอนาคตอันแท้จริง ต้องเกิดขึ้น ตามธรรมชาติ เช่น
I will be twenty-one next year. ผมจะมีอายุ 21 ในปีหน้า
(ห้ามใช้ :I am going to be twenty-one next year.)
2. ในประโยคที่เชื่อมด้วย If ใช้ได้เฉพาะ will และ shall เท่านั้น
John will be successful if he tries hard.
(ห้ามใช้ John is going to be successful if he tries hard.)
3. กริยาที่แสดงการรับรู้ เช่น
I will remember this experience forever.
(ห้ามใช้ :I am going to remember this experience forever.)
I wish you would love me one day.
(ฉันหวังว่าเธอจะรักฉันซักวันหนึ่ง)
